This included input to the Environmental and Social Screening Report and Environmental and Social Management Plans, as well as the development of a Labour Management Plan, Gender Action Plan and Land Acquisition and Resettlement Planning Framework. Working closely with technical, environmental and client teams, Social Strata helped identify and manage key social risks and impacts, strengthen labour and workforce management arrangements, and embed gender considerations into project planning and implementation.

The project established a robust framework for managing social, labour, gender and land acquisition risks throughout the development of the metro expansion programme. The work supported alignment with international lender requirements and helped strengthen the project's approach to inclusive development, stakeholder engagement and social risk management.
