What We Did

Social Strata conducted a legislative mapping and compliance assessment covering human rights and supply chain due diligence requirements applicable to the company's global operations and supply chains. This included analysis of conflict minerals, battery sector regulation, forced labour legislation and emerging due diligence frameworks, as well as a detailed review of the company's existing policies, procedures and management systems. Through stakeholder interviews, document review and gap analysis, Social Strata assessed current alignment with legal requirements and international good practice, with a particular focus on sourcing from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRAs). The work culminated in a prioritised roadmap and recommendations to strengthen supply chain due diligence, risk assessment, monitoring, reporting and remediation processes.

The Result

The project provided the company with a clear understanding of its current compliance position and future due diligence obligations across multiple jurisdictions. The assessment established a practical roadmap for strengthening human rights and responsible sourcing processes, supporting the company's preparedness for emerging supply chain legislation and customer expectations.
